| Another update...its been a little while. I'm in New Orleans trying to get situated. It was a hard decision to come here, but ultimately I know it was the right one. Already, God has shown me many things through different people here and time with Him. Seeing a city so devastated by storm and in so much turmoil puts things back into perspective for me. God shows that everything that is done is done for His glory. He's let me realize that I'm just a servant of Him with my only aim to bring Him glory. Ive been listening to John Piper a lot lately....he's a really good teacher and explains things really well. And he reitreates over and over that everything is done for God's glory.
So far, New Orleans is great. No classes yet. Ive met some solid Christian guys on my hall, and thats been really cool. I'm just looking for a job and a church that I can get plugged into.

| So, it's been a while since I last updated and I havent been good with keeping up with this but I figured that if I updated often than it wouldnt be as monumental of an occasion like the pope visiting south carolina or something...so if anybody happens to stumble upon this one day, this is what is going on with me as of late....
I just graduated from U.S.C.(not to be confused with the other USC with the bad football team some kind of Greek guy in a dress or something womanlike) and I start classes Monday at the extension in Atlanta for New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I'm trying to find a church to work at in Atlanta while I am going to seminary. Thats all for now. Maybe, next time it wont be so long for me to update.

| My brother came up to visit me this weekend, so we went to the
abandoned mental institution which was really cool. I wish I had
some pictures to show, but this place had gurneys and padded rooms,
barber chairs and bed linens. It had everything. I took a
clock back as a souvenouir. Overall, it was a successful night
with no one going to the hospital or jail.

| About 9:34 PM, I hear a faucet turn on in the kitchen. I knew
there was no one else in the dorm except me, so of course, I
immediately try to find the ghostbusters number. Well, I get the
courage to go check it out, and our sink is vomiting up brown water
from the drain. About five minutes later, a newly formed smelly
drainage water is flowing out of my dorm. The maintenance man has
been working on it up until now, and I think I wont sleep
tonight. These kinds of things make you realize how great college
life is. I hope my roommate didnt put his used can of beenie
weenies there thinking the garbage disposal meant "all garbage."
Anyways, I'm going to find a mop.

| So, its been a really long time since I last posted, and a lot has
happened since. I couldnt get on the internet for a while, so I
was forced to use the really oily keyboards in the library that 22000
other people had used before me....needless to say, that was pretty
gross.
I have really good news. A couple of weeks ago, five of the
boys that I work with accepted Christ. This was an answer to
prayer, and I pray now that they will be grounded in their newly
found faiths.
Two weekends ago, I embarassed myself highly and dressed up like
napoleon dynamite and did the napoleon dance in front of 700 college
students.
The homeless ministry me and a couple of friends are doing has taken
off. We're now seeing the same people every week and it seems
that I get blessed more for taking a burger or a blanket than the other
way around. Yesterday, a homeless man named Bobby told me about
his alcohol addiction and just that it's so hard to not consume it when
it's all around him. He asked me to pray with him, so I
did. At the end of the night, my friends and about four other
homeless people prayed together and that was a pretty cool thing.
We've talked with some of the homeless about bible studies at the park,
and they seem like it's a good idea.
Other than that, I am going to try to keep updating.
